After the Resurrection
The first week after Easter Sunday begins the time of appearances of Jesus in the Galilee prior to the Ascension of Christ and Pentecost. Once again the centrality of the Christian faith is to know with certainty that Jesus is God the Son, and that His mission on earth is to redeem us back to God the Father. When we do not mention the Resurrection, or that Jesus is the only way to God the Father, we weaken our understanding of what the purpose is for Jesus coming to die on the cross, and ultimately raised from the dead.
Recognizing that Jesus is present with us in every situation we encounter is essential to keeping us from an ambiguous and uncertain view of our eternal future. Many Christians fall into this realm of uncertainty which weakens their grasp of the power of Christ. Jesus may look like He's hidden from your situation, but I can assure you He is fully aware of you and ready to present you with wisdom and peace in dealing with the difficulties of everyday life. Remember, Jesus said He will never leave you nor forsake you. He walks alongside you every day, every moment, forever! Praise Him for His love for us!
