Grace, the Unappreciated Gift

"God does not leave us comfortless, but we have to be in dire need of comfort to know the truth of His promise. It is in time of calamity, in days and nights of sorrow and trouble that the presence, the sufficiency, and the sympathy of God grow very sure and very wonderful. Then we find out that the grace of God is sufficient for all our needs, for every problem and for every difficulty, for every broken heart, and for every human sorrow." Peter Marshall

This quote by Peter Marshall opens our eyes to the love of God, who turns darkness into light and the power of Satan to God. Therefore, grace allows us to feel compassion for others as well. Grace makes us bold and brave for the gospel's sake, thus giving us a conviction to stand. Grace gives us confidence to speak, telling others what God did for us. Grace makes us compassionate to share our experience with others. What an amazing gift the grace of God is! How unappreciated is this gift at times and all the more reason for usto cherish it and recognize how much God loves you and me.
